5 Month Baby Kiara Update

Kiara is 5 months! that's almost half way to one years old. In this blog I'll be writing about Feeding & Schedule Sleep, Growth and Development, things she loves, teething and her first since the last 4th month update. Be sure to check out my 5 month baby update video on Youtube!
Feeding:
She is eating 7 oz per feeding 5 times a day. Her schedule is eating every 2 1/2 - 3 hours. I'm giving her 100% formula now from the brand Kirkland, It is lactose free. The reason why we switched is because she was throwing up with the other formulas. I found out yesterday that the first ingredient in this formula was Corn Syrup! A bunch of fruit fly's kept going near her bib after she vomited on it, I thought it was strange but it does make sense now because the formula itself has corn syrup in it which is sweet and fruit fly's like everything sweet and fruit of course.
Sleeping & Schedule
She sleeps amazingly! 30-45 minutes naps, 4 - 5 times a day throughout a 24 hr period and she sleeps 10 hours at night, going to bed between 9 pm and 10 pm. Waking up in the morning between 7:50 am - 8:20 am. She has one nap in the morning, three in the afternoon and sometimes one in the early evening before her last feeding.
Growth and Development:
She is 13 lb right now! The way I weigh her although it might not be an accurate way is I stand on the scale with her and get the number, than I stand on the scale alone and get that number. I subtract the weight of both of us from my weight alone and it equals her weight. I checked today and she was 13 lb right on the dot! Our last visit to the doctors for her 4 month update she was 11 lb and 13 oz. She went through a huge growing spurt in her 4 month, she was sleeping long periods of the day and would be very sleepy when she was awake.
What she loves:
She has a few toys and activities that she loves to do. They are her toys that are included with her play mat and rattle and crinkly sound toys. She loves bath time, her jolly jumper and being read and sang to.
Teething
She has been teething since 3 months, although it seems to be more painful for her now. I believe a tooth will come in within the next month! I'm guessing the spot where she always touches with her finger which is the left side of her mouth on the bottom row. I guess we will have to wait and find out. I will tell you guys on an update for her when it happens! She is using teething toys right now, she likes the one we have that is green. She seems to attract to the color green, I think it will be her favorite color. A wet clean cloth is also a great way to calm teething pains. Anything cold works for teething and will calm the baby down.
Her first
She went swimming for the first time about a week ago! We got this baby crab ring for her to float in when she goes in the pool. She didn't seem to like to water at first, she was previously crying before we put her in the pool. The pool was indoor, warmish and salt water. She can jump a lot now instead of a little while she is on her jolly jumper. She is very vocal and loves to laugh!
She has been a bundle of joy these last couple of months!, I'm looking forward to seeing her grow.
