Our First Baby Girl

Welcome everyone to my new blog. This is my first post. Kiara is my baby's name, she was born 40 weeks and 6 days. Weighing 7 lb 5 oz. and 22 inch long. We decided on a middle name of Lissa because of her godparents name.

I'm absolutely loving every moment of being with my daughter. She sleeps very well, and is not fussy when she eats. She also loves to be swaddled and held. I love going to her doctor apointments and seeing how much she has grown. My recovery from labor has been a struggle and I'm getting through it, feel better everyday. I went for my first walk with Kiara with my husband yesterday evening in the trails, she did sleep the whole trip. Kiara is now 3 months old, she is looking around more, and is starting to teeth. She grabs on to everything that comes in her view. I put a soother in the fridge to make it cold, since she is used to sucking on that. It helps her not put her hands in her mouth. The last three months have been a joyful experience with lots of smiles, laughter. It is an amazing feeling i receive every day is very worth going through pregnancy and labor.
